### Doctor of Medicine

![](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Screenshot-2024-09-17-121138.png)

I am a provider at our [Arlington ](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/arlington-va.md)clinic who provides [psychiatric](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/psychiatric-care/psychiatry-and-medication/) services! I am currently not accepting therapy clients.

My ideal client struggles with chronic depression, anxiety, personality disorders, or complex trauma, often rooted in unresolved conflicts or past experiences. They need a multifaceted approach, including psychoeducation, supportive counseling, motivational interviewing, psychotherapy, medication management, and interventional treatments. Their goal is to understand how past experiences shape their present, seeking emotional regulation, self-awareness, and healthier relationships. Ultimately, they aim to transform underlying patterns, live authentically, and achieve lasting personal growth.

As a bilingual (English/Spanish) psychiatrist with a psychodynamic and developmental focus, I offer comprehensive care, including psychoeducation, supportive counseling, motivational interviewing, psychotherapy, medication management, and interventional treatments. I specialize in understanding the complexity of each patient’s experience, building therapeutic alliances, and helping patients achieve emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting personal growth.

I want my patients to know that I am deeply committed to fostering healing and mental well-being. I believe in embracing life’s full range of emotions, finding strength in both its joys and challenges. You are the expert on yourself, and I’m here to help you explore and unlock the wisdom within you, incorporating treatments tailored to support your unique circumstances and needs. Together, we’ll navigate your journey toward growth, authenticity, and resilience. Please reach out; I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way.
