No. There are no changes to your scheduled appointments, your care plan, or the provider you see. Our priority is to ensure your care continues seamlessly without interruption. You can expect the same high quality of care and attention that you have always received from FFCP. Will I still see my current therapist/provider? Yes. Your relationship with your provider remains the same. You will continue to work with the same team you trust at the same location. I received a communication from Valant.io, or I received a communication from Columbia Mental Health. Is this an error, should I ignore it? Columbia Mental Health and Families First Counseling and Psychiatry (FFCP) are combining practices and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). You may receive some communications from the new EMR (Valant) and branded as Columbia Mental Health while we finalize our systems integrations. These are not errors. If you received an invitation for MYIO (our new portal), please accept and setup your account. In the future you will also receive messages like appointment reminders and newsletters from Valant. Will this affect the cost of my care or my insurance? No. This partnership does not change the affordability or accessibility of your care. We are committed to ensuring that our services remain accessible to our clients. I have noticed the name “Columbia Mental Health.” What does this mean? Over time, you will begin to see the name “Columbia Mental Health” appear on documents or in communications. This represents our partnership with a larger network dedicated to mental health excellence.
