I am a Licensed Social Worker and have many years of clinical experience providing play therapy, individual, group and family psychotherapy. My person-centered, strengths-based therapeutic framework includes developmental perspectives that is attachment and trauma-informed, and strives for cultural humility and sensitivity. I can provide brief, episodic, long term intensive treatment, and telemental-health services. I hope to develop a therapeutic alliance with clients that supports increased understanding, change, growth and progress towards their goals.
Presently, my ideal client would be an individual adult of any age trying to manage emotional, behavioral, and/or interpersonal difficulties. They are open to developing a therapeutic alliance to better understand their present struggles, identify strengths, and develop coping and problem-solving strategies to support them towards their specific treatment goals. They want psychotherapy to have the support and opportunity for reflection, increased understanding of their needs and themselves, and to work towards improved functioning, communication and social interactions.
