I support clients in navigating their search for meaning, connection, clarity, and recovery. I have experience helping with challenges from chronic pain, mood and substance use problems, relationships, and integration of spiritual and religious challenges with mental health. I offer a trauma-informed balance of insight into personal issues along with a practical and solution-focused approach. Mindfulness, contemplative practices, humor, holistic, somatic and narrative therapies can all be part of treatment. I provide a nurturing space to help clients learn to increase self-compassion and self-acceptance on the road to achieving desired changes.

As an Expressive Arts Therapist, I use a developmental approach to gently explore and identify next steps towards a more satisfying life experience. Using the arts in multiple forms (with zero pressure to create anything pretty or perfect), I help clients to quiet the inner critic and express themselves when words fail.

Life gives us puzzles that can bring us pain when we try to rely on ourselves too much to solve them alone. Together, we can collaborate and continuously adjust your unique personal program for your values as you grow. As your counselor, I serve to encourage you towards becoming friends with all parts of yourself to a more sustainably fulfilling path.
