Resident in Counseling

Hello, I’m Amber, a Resident in Counseling who offers [therapy](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/psychiatric-care/mental-health-counseling-and-therapy/) services at our [Falls Church, VA](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/falls-church-va.md) clinic.

I’m passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults, as well as couples and families, through life’s challenges. I am currently pursuing my PhD to continue strengthening my clinical training and supervision. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, meaning I meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable while building a trusting and respectful connection.

I support clients facing relationship challenges, family conflict, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you’re working on communication or seeking self-understanding, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll build coping skills, strengthen connections, and support meaningful, lasting change.

Reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. I am committed to creating a compassionate, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe to be yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome here. I look forward to supporting you as you work toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.
