Resident in Counseling

I am a provider at our Alexandria clinic, which provides therapy services in person and via telehealth. I counsel each individual, younger as well as older, from a Person-Centered perspective, meaning that I prioritize each client’s wishes and needs while helping clients come to solutions and interventions that work best for them, I also take a solution-focused meaning that I help clients consider new solutions to problems that have otherwise gone unsolved. Lastly, I focus on the here and now with the client to best suit their needs.

My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. Although I am passionate about empowering clients of all ages and backgrounds to lead healthier, happier lives, I specialize in the following areas: women’s issues, relationship and sexuality issues, career exploration/development, emotional abuse, and counseling teens and young adults starting off with university.

I am bilingual in both English and Armenian.
