## Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Hello, Friend. I’m Elizabeth Rodgers. I am a therapist working out of the [Olney, MD](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/olney-md.md) Office of Columbia Mental Health. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults in both school and outpatient therapy settings. My goal is to welcome you into a supportive space where you’ll find acceptance and understanding. Drawing from my background in play therapy and trauma interventions, I focus on what matters most to you. In my practice, I use strength-based, person-centered approach to explore anxieties, fears, big emotions, and grief with clients. Together, you can count on being heard and values as we build confidence in yourself.

Together, we’ll create a thoughtful space where you can explore your feeling. Using techniques like play therapy and expressive arts, I help you build communication and coping skills so you can face life’s challenges with confidence and self-compassion.

I believe that asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do. It is not always easy to speak what’s on our minds without the fear of judgement. I believe that your story matters and deserves to be listened to. Our space will be one of acceptance and kindness for all walks of life.
