### Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinic Director

Hi! I’m Emily Latimer, the Clinic Director at our [Towson](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/towson-md.md) clinic.

I am a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience working with clients across the lifespan, primarily in community-based settings. I specialize in trauma-informed care and body-based approaches that support healing and emotional regulation. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll work at your pace to build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and support meaningful growth.

Together, we’ll create a supportive space to explore your emotions and experiences. I specialize in trauma-informed, body-based approaches to help build awareness, strengthen coping skills, and support healing. My focus is helping you feel grounded, empowered, and more connected to yourself.

I believe seeking support takes courage, and I want you to know you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Wherever you are in your journey, you are welcome here. I strive to meet you with compassion, curiosity, and respect, and I look forward to walking alongside you as you work toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.
