Emma Silvio-Eagling, PMHNP

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a provider at our Aldie clinic who provides psychiatric services!

My ideal patient is someone seeking a holistic, collaborative approach to mental health care. I work closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, non-pharmacological strategies, and referrals to additional resources such as therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), or Spravato. I provide care for patients aged 5 and older, with particular clinical interests in working with children and adolescents, individuals in the perinatal period, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I treat a broad range of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV. My nursing career began in an inpatient mental health unit for children ages 5–13, and since then, I have gained experience across various settings, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric outpatient mental health, partial hospitalization programs, electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), and Spravato administration. My doctoral research focused on enhancing mental health interventions for LGBTQ+ individuals during the perinatal period.
