Keyana is a registered marriage and family therapist at our Alexandria clinic who provides therapy services in-person and via telehealth.. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Delaware State University and recently completed a master’s degree in couples and family therapy at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

With background experience in case management, her therapeutic approach has been tailored towards goal-oriented and collaborative work. Working with individuals, couples, and families, she has been able to support and guide clients experiencing substance abuse, suicidal idealization, health issues, mental illness diagnosis, and homelessness while serving at homeless shelters and halfway homes. Keyana has provided therapy with adolescents, young adults, and college students in school settings and private practices using solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing for numerous presenting issues. Keyana aims for clients to have a safe and respectful environment where they can express their day-to-day challenges, such as anxiety, depression, body image issues, eating disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. She believes in helping clients find their true selves by gaining awareness of their situations, emotions, strengths, and limitations while she provides guidance and support in the therapeutic journey.
