Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I am a provider at our [Alexandria](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/alexandria-va.md) clinic who offer [psychiatric](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/psychiatric-care/psychiatry-and-medication/) services!

My ideal patient is motivated to pursue a holistic approach to treatment for conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD, or mood disorders. Whether knowledgeable about their condition or still learning, they are committed to putting in the effort to achieve a more fulfilling life. They want someone to work alongside them to develop a personalized treatment plan focused on long-term well-being.

As a proud veteran and experienced ICU nurse, I bring dedication, empathy, and strong clinical skills to mental health care. As a PMHNP, I focus on evidence-based, holistic care, combining medication management, therapy, and practical solutions to empower patients. I aim to guide patients toward lasting mental wellness.

Originally from Hawaii, I joined the Army, was stationed in Alaska, and developed a love for snowboarding and hiking. After serving in the Army, I returned to Hawaii to focus on family. During the pandemic I began my nursing career in Washington D.C., where I now enjoy traveling, reading, and experiencing the city’s food, culture, and sporting events.
