Resident in Counseling

Hello, and welcome! I’m Megan, a Resident in Counseling at our Arlington, VA clinic with a unique background in education that helps me understand the challenges people face across different stages of life. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 10 years as an educator, giving me firsthand insight into the academic, social, and emotional experiences that shape children and adolescents. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, creating a supportive space where clients feel understood while developing the skills and self-awareness needed to navigate challenges.
I help children, teens, and young adults navigate anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, and life transitions. When working with children and teens, I collaborate closely with primary caregivers to reinforce skills, provide support between sessions, and encourage progress both in and outside of therapy.
Seeking therapy takes courage, and finding the right fit matters. Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I want you to feel welcomed and understood from the beginning. I look forward to learning your story, understanding your goals, and supporting you along the way.
