### Resident in Counseling

### ![](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/Dayan-1-scaled.jpg)

Hello! I’m a clinician at our [Manassas, VA](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/manassas-va.md) clinic, working with clients ages 6 and up, mostly teens and young adults. I have experience in juvenile justice and outpatient therapy and specialize in anxiety and supporting those impacted by incarceration. I use a holistic, collaborative approach with CBT, DBT, and Gestalt techniques. I value respectful, real conversations where you can be yourself. You don’t have to navigate this alone—we’ll move at your pace, building tools, insight, and confidence together, with warmth, encouragement, and positivity.

Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space to explore your feelings and experiences. I help clients build coping skills, gain insight, and strengthen confidence while honoring your pace. Using CBT, DBT, and Gestalt approaches, we’ll work collaboratively to better understand yourself, manage challenges, and navigate life with positivity and resilience.

I know reaching out for support takes courage, and it’s okay to take it one step at a time. I bring warmth, encouragement, and positivity to every session, and I’ll meet you where you are without judgment. You are not alone on this journey—I’d be honored to support you as you grow, build confidence, and discover your strengths.
