Resident in Counseling | Provisional Art Therapist

Hello! I’m Mira (they/she), a Resident in Counseling and Provisional Art Therapist at our clinic in Falls Church, VA. I earned my Master’s in Art Therapy from George Washington University in 2025 and bring four years of clinical internship and work experience to my practice. My work spans children, teens, young adults, and adults, delivered both virtually and in-person across community centers, schools, trauma-based clinics, and hospitals. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults navigating ASD, ADHD, mood disorders, grief, trauma, LGBTQ+ topics, and school-based behavioral challenges.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process! My practice is rooted in relational-cultural, strengths-based, and person-centered frameworks. To support your journey, I integrate art and sand tray therapy with DBT and CBT. This allows us to build practical tools, safely express emotions, creating meaningful and sustainable change that supports your goals.

Reaching out for support takes courage. Together, we will create an inclusive space to navigate challenges, strengthen communication, and build healthy coping skills. If you are ready to take the next step toward growth and healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Please note that when communicating with our intake team over the phone, all calls will start in English. Translation services will be offered once you connect with a member of our intake team.
