Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Hi, I’m Naina Shahi-Virk, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). I offer virtual psychiatric care at our Woodbridge, VA for individuals across the lifespan, with a focus on children and adolescents. I have experience in outpatient and residential settings, treating ADHD, PTSD, mood and bipolar disorders, autism, ODD, and substance use. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and collaborative, involving families, schools, and care teams.I take a holistic, and collaborative approach to care, working closely with families, schools, and other care providers to ensure comprehensive support.

I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and individualized treatment planning. My clinical interests include helping individuals manage attention difficulties, behavioral issues, mood disorders, trauma symptoms, and substance use.
