Licensed Master Social Worker

I am a clinician at our [Silver Spring](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/location/silver-spring-md.md) clinic who provides [therapy](https://www.columbiapsychiatry-dc.com/psychiatric-care/mental-health-counseling-and-therapy/) services!

I love working with a wide variety of clients but I tend to enjoy working with adults with ADHD, people going through big transitions in their life, or those who have experienced religious trauma or people questioning their sense of purpose and spirituality. I also specialize in working with people that have suicidal thoughts or ideation and find it an honor to work along side them during that difficult time to help them discover meaning and purpose in their life again.

I offer many evidenced-based practices such as DBT, CBT, somatic experiencing therapy, and motivational interviewing for the basis of treatment, but also keep in mind that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy. I offer a warm and welcoming environment tailored to each client to help you feel safe. I am supportive and good at providing additional insight from an outside perspective to whatever situation you may be in.

Therapy is not about spilling your deepest and darkest secrets to a stranger. It is about the here and now and what can be done to improve your life in the present moment with the help and collaboration from someone you trust. I am honored to be with you on your journey of healing.
