I love helping children (4-12), teens (13-17), and young and professional adults (18-40), as well as parents who want support with anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, school difficulties, and behavioral and family issues.
Through my education, research, and training as a therapist, I have learned and experimented with many therapeutic techniques to support my clients. As a result, I have adapted several techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to change unhelpful ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving; dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to support clients with understanding and accepting their emotions, and learning to manage them; and mindfulness to help you increase awareness through meditation and relaxation.
As a person-centered therapist, our therapeutic relationship is the top priority. I allow you to decide what and how we explore your pressing topics, and I partner with you on unpacking and working through them. Your experiences and feelings are valid, and I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel your story can be honored.
