Dr. Yashar Yousef Fard, MD, MPH, is a compassionate Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist who believes in healing from the inside out—using just the right amount of intervention to restore balance in conditions such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety.

He completed his Adult Psychiatry residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. With a strong foundation in psychopharmacology research, neuroimaging, and interventional psychiatry, Dr. Fard integrates scientific insight with empathy to help each patient build resilience and achieve lasting wellness.

Drawing on his academic background, Dr. Fard maintains a deep interest in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and other emerging treatments for complex and treatment-resistant conditions. Before joining Columbia Associates, he contributed to pioneering research at Columbia University and Stony Brook University, focusing on the biological foundations of mood disorders and treatment response.

Fluent in English, Persian, and Azerbaijani/Turkish, and shaped by a diverse cultural background, Dr. Fard values cultural understanding and meaningful human connection as cornerstones of effective mental health care. He is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages find balance, healing, and connection on their mental health journeys.
