Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker

Hi, I’m Diego González, a bilingual English/Spanish therapist at our Arlington clinic working with adolescents and adults. I pay close attention to how beliefs, relationships, culture, and life circumstances shape emotional well-being, human behavior, and personal growth. My style is grounded, perceptive, and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping clients develop greater self-understanding and create meaningful, sustainable progress.

I work with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. I use CBT, solution-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches to deepen insight, strengthen decision-making, build resilience, and support healthier responses to life’s challenges.

I believe therapy should be honest, purposeful, and engaging. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself while knowing our work will have direction and substance. I’ll bring thoughtful questions, clear perspective, and challenge unhelpful patterns as we help you feel more confident in your choices and more grounded in the life you want to build.

Please note that when communicating with our intake team over the phone, all calls will start in English. Translation services will be offered once you connect with a member of our intake team.
