Her diverse education, clinical training, and professional experience allow her to approach treatment from both a clinical and recovery-oriented perspective.

As a therapist, Misty utilizes evidence-based and person-centered approaches to help clients address anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, family stress, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach incorporates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, strengths-based interventions, and solution-focused strategies, while tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals.

Misty believes that effective therapy begins with creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment in which clients feel heard and understood. She recognizes that seeking therapy can be difficult and strives to meet each person where they are while helping them identify their strengths, develop healthier coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.

Her experience in both behavioral health and substance use treatment has strengthened her passion for supporting individuals as they work toward recovery and improved quality of life. Misty is particularly committed to helping clients recognize that their past experiences do not have to define their future and that meaningful change is possible through support, self-awareness, and continued effort.

Through her work with Harmony and Transformation Care Network, Misty remains committed to providing compassionate, individualized, and clinically appropriate care while empowering clients to become active participants in their own healing and personal growth.
