Master of Social Work
Hello, my name is Bianca Harris, and I am a Master’s-level social worker with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, and relational stress. I offer therapy services at our Fairfax, VA clinic.
I have worked in community and outpatient settings and enjoy helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or disconnected from themselves or others. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and collaborative. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and psychoeducation
In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe to be honest—about your struggles, your hopes, and even your uncertainty. I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely seen and heard, not judged or rushed. I value collaboration and will meet you where you are, moving at a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.
I want you to know that you don’t have to come into therapy with everything figured out. Many people begin therapy feeling unsure, guarded, or even exhausted by trying to hold everything together. I understand that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable, and I approach that first step with care, patience, and respect.
