Elizabeth Rodgers, LCPC, CTRP-C

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Hello, Friend. I’m Elizabeth Rodgers. I am a therapist working out of the Olney, MD Office of Columbia Mental Health. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults in both school and outpatient therapy settings. My goal is to welcome you into a supportive space where you’ll find acceptance and understanding. Drawing from my background in play therapy and trauma interventions, I focus on what matters most to you. In my practice, I use strength-based, person-centered approach to explore anxieties, fears, big emotions, and grief with clients. Together, you can count on being heard and values as we build confidence in yourself.

Together, we’ll create a thoughtful space where you can explore your feeling. Using techniques like play therapy and expressive arts, I help you build communication and coping skills so you can face life’s challenges with confidence and self-compassion.

I believe that asking for help is one of the bravest things a person can do. It is not always easy to speak what’s on our minds without the fear of judgement. I believe that your story matters and deserves to be listened to. Our space will be one of acceptance and kindness for all walks of life.

Please note that when communicating with our intake team over the phone, all calls will start in English. Translation services will be offered once you connect with a member of our intake team.
