Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Hello, my name is Stephane Yambaka. I offer therapy services at our Silver Spring, MD clinic.

I am a clinician that has been licensed in MD, DC, and VA (as well as other states) and have been providing counseling support to the region for the better part of 14 years. I have helped people with substance abuse challenges, family and relationship issues, military lifestyle challenges, and other unique emotional challenges that come about in life. I aim to provide support and self-understanding as I walk beside my clients on their journeys.

I will provide an environment for you to experience safety and growth. I do my best to be a resource for emerging adults (17-25) and those not much older… I don’t typically put parameters on age of potential clients.

Therapy is a wonderful experience and a worthy endeavor for all who are blessed with an opportunity to experience it. My mission remains the same in most instances, which are usually to get an individual to a point where they don’t feel as though they require it any longer. My encouragement will hopefully help individuals find empathy for themselves.
