At our convenient clinics located throughout DC Metropolitan and Baltimore, MD area, we offer a full suite of personalized mental health services, including therapy, psychiatry, and medication management. We are also proud to offer innovative and life-changing interventional psychiatry services including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato treatments. Our clinical team includes licensed and unlicensed therapists, board-certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, physician assistants and clinical support team members who provide services to children, adolescents, and adults.
We believe access to quality mental health care is a right, not a privilege and are dedicated to connecting clients to care in a way that works for their individual needs. Columbia Mental Health accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare at many locations, and we are deeply rooted in our communities. We offer in-person services at our local clinics, as well as convenient telehealth options.

No. There are no changes to your scheduled appointments, your care plan, or the provider you see. Our priority is to ensure your care continues seamlessly without interruption. You can expect the same high quality of care and attention that you have always received from FFCP.
Yes. Your relationship with your provider remains the same. You will continue to work with the same team you trust at the same location.
Columbia Mental Health and Families First Counseling and Psychiatry (FFCP) are combining practices and Electronic Medical Records (EMRs). You may receive some communications from the new EMR (Valant) and branded as Columbia Mental Health while we finalize our systems integrations. These are not errors. If you received an invitation for MYIO (our new portal), please accept and setup your account. In the future you will all also receive things like Appointment Reminders from Valant.
No. This partnership does not change the affordability or accessibility of your care. We are committed to ensuring that our services remain accessible to our clients.
