Licensed Master of Social Work

I am a clinician at our Annapolis clinic who provides therapy services!
As a new mental health therapist, my ideal client is a teen or young adult who is struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, trauma, or challenges at home or school. They may feel overwhelmed, unsupported, or unsure of how to manage their emotions and relationships. These clients want to feel heard and understood. Their goals might include building confidence, learning how to cope with stress, improving communication, or simply finding a safe space to talk about what they’re going through.
With a background in social work and years of experience supporting youth and families through financial coaching and empowerment, I bring a strengths-based, compassionate approach to therapy. I understand how external stressors like poverty, displacement, or trauma can impact mental health. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients feel safe and empowered to grow. I help them identify their strengths, set goals, and develop the tools they need to navigate life with greater confidence and resilience.
I help teens and young adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and major life transitions by creating a safe, supportive, and culturally aware space to process their experiences and build emotional resilience. With a background in social work and years of experience in financial coaching and empowerment, particularly with young women overcoming displacement and hardship, I bring a holistic lens to therapy that recognizes how external stressors like poverty, family dynamics, and instability impact mental health.
My specialty lies in meeting clients where they are. I focus on helping young adults and families develop coping strategies, emotional regulation skills, and self-confidence, while also building trust and rapport through empathy and consistency. I’m particularly skilled at working with clients who may feel disconnected or unsure of how to ask for help. Drawing from my training, I use strength-based and trauma-informed approaches to help clients build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
As someone who has worked in both systems-level change and direct service roles, I understand how to help clients feel seen in environments that often overlook them. My goal is to walk alongside each client as they gain the tools and clarity they need to heal and thrive.
I want my clients to know that they don’t have to have everything figured out before they come to therapy. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just unsure of where to start, I’ll meet you there. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and focused on helping you feel safe enough to explore what’s going on beneath the surface.
As someone who has worked with people facing major life transitions, trauma, and systems that often fail to support them, I deeply value the power of being seen and heard. Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating. It can be a space where you feel empowered, understood, and supported as you grow. You don’t have to carry it all alone, reach out when you’re ready, and we’ll take it one step at a time, together.
