Brittany Lewis-Fooks, LCPC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

I offer therapy services at our Gaithersburg, MD clinic. I create spaces where you can be honest about what’s hurting while still believing healing is possible. My approach is strength-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in trust, compassion, and the belief that resilience already lives within you. Whether you need to crash out or cry, you’re safe here; every feeling is welcome. Our first session is simply a chance to get to know each other. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll move at your pace and build a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, supportive, and sustainable. I look forward to meeting you.

I specialize in chronic suicidal ideation, self-harm, self-esteem, depression, PTSD, and women’s issues. I use a strength-based, trauma-informed approach grounded in C.A.R.E.: Creative, Affirming, Relational, and Empathetic, helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward lasting healing and growth.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy creating art, attending church, content creation, fashion, writing, and spending quality time with my nieces and nephews. I love expressing creativity and staying connected to community.
