Licensed Professional Counselor Resident
My ideal client is someone seeking a supportive environment to process challenges related to trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions. They may feel overwhelmed by their emotions or disconnected from their sense of purpose. They need a space where they feel seen, heard, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. Ultimately, they want to feel more grounded, confident, and want to understand their mental health. My ideal child client is one who may be struggling with emotional regulation, social challenges, or processing difficult experiences like trauma or family changes. They might feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or misunderstood, and their emotions often come out in ways they can’t fully express or control. The child’s goals often include improving self-expression, building self-esteem, and fostering a sense of security and belonging.
I can help my desired child and adult clients by combining my expertise as an art therapist and counselor with my diverse clinical experience. For children, I create a safe and engaging space where they can explore their emotions and experiences through creative modalities like art and play. These approaches allow them to process feelings they may not have the language to express, build emotional regulation skills, and develop confidence in their ability to navigate challenges.
For adults, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment to explore their concerns—whether related to trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions. I use art therapy, in conjunction with other evidence-based approaches to therapy, as a powerful tool to help clients externalize and make sense of complex emotions, gain insights, and develop practical strategies for coping and personal growth. Whether I am working with children, adolescents, or adults, I collaborate with clients to help them identify their goals, build resilience, and cultivate meaningful change in their lives.
It can be hard to take the first step toward seeking support. Whether you’re a parent looking for help for your child or an adult navigating your own challenges, reaching out can feel overwhelming. I want you to know that you’re not alone, and my goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel truly seen and heard. For children, I try to make therapy feel approachable and even enjoyable, using creative tools like art and play to help them express themselves in ways that feel natural. For adults, I offer a supportive environment where we can explore your concerns together, at your pace, and work toward meaningful growth. My work is grounded in collaboration, respect, and a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit. Whatever challenges you’re facing, I’m here to walk alongside you and help you discover tools and strengths that may have been hidden or untapped. I invite you to reach out so we can begin this journey together.
