Medical Doctor – Psychiatrist

I am a provider at our Alexandria, VA clinic who offers psychiatric services!

My ideal client lives with chronic mental illness, but is highly motivated to accept treatment for their disorder. The client’s goal is to enjoy good quality of life, maintain social and occupational functioning, avoid hospitalization, and abstain from substance use.

As a psychiatrist, I could offer this client medications which, based on available scientific evidence, give the client their best chance to meet the above stated goals.

I want my patients to know that if I am not knowledgeable about a particular patient population or novel treatment modality, I will try my best to familiarize myself with current evidence and deliver high quality care anyway.
