I am a clinician at our Columbia who provides therapy services!

The targeted population issues may include challenges with suicide planning and attempts, suicidal ideations, managing symptoms, managing behaviors, coping with stressors, minimal insight into mental health challenges, family relationships, substance abuse, and dual diagnosis challenges. The targeted population need areas may include support with crisis intervention, safety planning, symptom management education and training, behavior management education and training, coping skills training, substance abuse counseling, dual diagnosis and family counseling. The major goals for the identified population are based on the client experiencing a full remission of mental health challenges related to the client’s disorder and performing all tasks of daily living without mental health challenges.

I provide a person-centered approach to treatment that uses evidence-based practices to provide the most efficient and effective modalities of treatment for the client’s identified mental health disorder. Specialty modalities of treatment include motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness Therapy, ACT, and other integrated modalities.

I am a humble, open-minded, and culturally respectful individual. My main goal as a professional is to assist individuals with filling the gap between where they are and where they want to be. I have been an avant-garde mental health professional for more than two decades–enabling me to provide my clients with a wealth of experience and knowledge in managing daily mental health challenges.
