Adult from varied cultural backgrounds who are experiencing personal distress/dissatisfaction in one or more areas of functioning resulting in new or returning signs of personal distress that have not responded to individual’s personal interventions. They may b e experiencing changes in sleep appetite, self esteem, job or school performance below their normal level. They want a return to stability that resets their functioning in order to achieve special personal or professional goals in order to feel a sense of normalcy.
As a professionally trained and licensed mental health professional with a broad array of clients from across the human life span, my focus over the breadth of my career in both public and private sector settings has been with general populations. In this role, I use an integrative treatment approach which enables me to treat a wide range of clinical conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, addiction, depression, bipolar disorders, etc. additionally, I am committed to using evidence-based techniques to respect client’s resources, including their time.
I invite clients in, even if they are certain that the symptoms are distressing, but are unclear of related details, and need guidance in identifying the remaining details. My interest includes professional assessment, which can help in the identification of the source and treatment options.
