Master of Social Work
I am a proud Latina, the child of Salvadoran immigrants, and the first in my family to graduate from college. My own experiences navigating cultural expectations, educational challenges, and the complexities of identity give me a unique perspective and deep empathy for those facing similar struggles. I understand the pressures of being first-generation and the intricacies of balancing multiple cultural identities. I am passionate about creating an inclusive and affirming space for all individuals, especially those from marginalized or underrepresented communities. As an LGBTQ+ ally, I am dedicated to providing support that respects and honors each person’s identity and lived experience. Whether you’re navigating cultural, familial, or personal challenges, I’m here to support you in your journey toward healing and self-discovery!
I am dedicated to supporting clients who face challenges in navigating social contexts, building meaningful relationships, and working through academics.
I have experience helping clients define their goals around friendships and social groups, as well as their academic ambitions. I collaborate with clients to explore how they envision building a fulfilling life, taking into account the unique challenges they may face. My approach is tailored to empower clients to shape their own journeys.
