Licensed Master Social Worker
I am a clinician at our Towson clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal therapy client is a young person between the ages of 15 and 21 who is navigating the challenges of ADHD, anxiety, or early signs of a personality disorder. They may feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, difficulty with focus, or struggles in relationships and self-identity. I’m drawn to working with clients in this age group because it’s a pivotal time for emotional growth and self-understanding. I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop healthier coping strategies, and build a stronger sense of self. Clients in this age group often want to feel more in control of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. They may be seeking relief from anxiety, help managing impulsivity or attention difficulties, or clarity around confusing or intense emotions related to identity and relationships. Many want to understand themselves better and feel more confident navigating school, friendships, family dynamics, or the transition into adulthood. Ultimately, they’re looking for tools, insight, and a safe space where they feel heard and supported because they want to feel capable, connected, and more at ease in their daily lives.
As a therapist specializing in work with adolescents and young adults, I offer a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. I draw from evidence-based approaches while also integrating a systems theory perspective. This means I consider how family dynamics, school environments, peer relationships, and cultural or societal influences shape a client’s mental health. For those navigating ADHD, anxiety, or early signs of personality disorders, I help build emotional regulation skills, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools for everyday life. By viewing the individual within the context of their broader systems, I support clients in understanding both their internal world and the external forces that impact their well-being.
I want my clients to know that therapy with me is a judgment-free space where they can show up exactly as they are. I understand how hard it can be to talk about what’s going on inside, especially when things feel messy or difficult to explain. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal to start just a willingness to explore. I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, understanding, and practical guidance tailored to your needs and experiences. If you’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or simply looking for a safe place to figure things out, I invite you to reach out. You’re not alone, and you don’t have to do this by yourself.
