Morris Vatz, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker with more than forty years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health at Johns Hopkins Hospital and at the University of Maryland Specialty Hospital. He has also worked in emergency room consulting at St. Agnes and at John Hopkins Hospital, Bay View. Morris provides psychotherapy to individuals, couples, groups, and families, in cooperation with their psychiatrists, clergy and surrounding communities. He has developed and supervised programs in mental health and drug abuse intervention and treatment. Over the years, Morris has discovered eclectic treatments that have helped his clients interrupt chronic problems of suffering and disruptive patterns. In his work with you, Morris’s goal will be to help you improve your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to experience less suffering.
