Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinic Director

I am the Clinic Director at our Annapolis clinic who also provides therapy services!

I have been licensed and providing mental health services for almost thirty years, having worked in many different settings and counseled diverse clients of all ages, races, culture, and sexual orientation. It has been 10 years that I’ve provided supervision to both graduate and licensed level social workers and counselors,  and 7years that I have acted as Clinical Director.  With the clinical team and support staff, I provide an atmosphere of learning, growth, guidance, and praise.  Everyone contributes to making our office a place that offers a calming, non-judgmental, and helpful oasis for clients to focus on themselves.  

When providing therapy,  I use a team approach, collaborating with family members, other providers, and fellow staff, as approved by the client.  Specializing in treating clients with trauma background, anxiety, and those on the autism spectrum, I have a philosophy of support and encouragement and understand that a person’s experience is unique and multi-layered.  

My role is not to direct the client but to enable the client to process their own feelings and explore options to reach resolution.

I offer a safe place for clients to express themselves and heal in an atmosphere of acceptance, empathy, and guidance.
