Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Patricia Hardy is a provider at our Aldie clinic who provides psychiatry services in-person and via telehealth. She has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. She holds a Master of Science degree in nursing education and a post-graduate advanced practice registered nurse degree in psychiatry from Stony Brook University. Patricia has more than 25 years of experience in medicine, with a career working with clients in emergency services, both in psychiatric and primary care situations.

Patricia’s practice focuses include emergency psychiatry, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. A mother of three adult children, Patricia is passionate about early intervention in pediatric mental health, decreasing the generational stigma attached to mental health, and helping clients to overcome issues through a holistic approach. Patricia’s clients can expect patience, warmth, compassion, understanding, and honest communication. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nursing and the American Association for Emergency Psychiatry.
