Phanedra O’Neal, PMHNP-BC, is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran and board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the nursing profession. Throughout a diverse and dynamic career, Phanedra has worked across multiple specialties — including medical surgical, cardiac step-down, emergency, and community health before finding a true calling in mental health care, which she has 10 years in mental health field. As Marine Corp veteran she developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership skills that continue to shape her clinical practice. This background provides a unique perspective, especially in working with veterans, active-duty service members, and individuals facing high-stress environments, and providing nonjudgmental care.

Drawing on decades of hands-on clinical experience and the discipline instilled through military service, Phanedra brings a calm, confident, and compassionate presence to every patient encounter. Their approach to psychiatric care is rooted in trust, respect, and the belief that healing happens best through collaboration. Phanedra provide comprehensive mental health services across the lifespan, treating children, adolescents, adults, and older adults with a range of conditions including anxiety, depression, substance abuse, ADHD, LGBTQ, trauma, mood disorders, and more. She is experienced in both medication management and supportive psychotherapy and works collaboratively with patients to create individualized treatment plans.

Outside of clinical practice, Phanedra is a strong advocate for mental health awareness, veteran support, and reducing stigma around psychiatric care. She is a strong advocate for mental wellness in underserved communities and continues to honor the core values of service, integrity, and excellence in every aspect of care. Their mission is to empower each patient to achieve mental wellness, resilience, and improved quality of life.
