Licensed Clinical Social Worker – Certified
My ideal client is someone who is experiencing challenges such as increased depressive symptoms, anxiety, sleep difficulties, flashbacks from past trauma, emotional outbursts, crying spells, relationship problems, or low self-esteem. They may also struggle with self-harm tendencies, poor anger management, distractibility, disruptive behavior in the classroom, getting into fights, difficulty focusing on job responsibilities, and managing stress. In more severe cases, the client may experience psychosis, worsening psychotic symptoms, or non-compliance with their medication regimen, potentially due to side effects.
This client would benefit from support in developing and improving coping strategies to manage their symptoms more effectively. They may need assistance in identifying and managing triggers, understanding their symptoms, and improving their relationships through mediation. Additionally, they may require help with reducing distractibility, improving focus, managing relapse symptoms, and learning skills to reduce or eliminate self-harm behaviors. Empathy, reassurance, and guidance in maintaining stability and daily functioning are also key.
The client’s goals would include maintaining stability in their community, enhancing coping skills, preventing relapse, sustaining adequate daily functioning, and ensuring compliance with prescribed medications. My role would be to support them in achieving these goals while fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience.
I am committed to supporting clients by meeting with them as scheduled, conducting thorough psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, and developing personalized, client-centered treatment and discharge plans.
