I am a provider at our Fairfax clinic who provides therapy services!

Every client is different, and so do their needs are. As the saying, “meet your clients where they are.”- It is critical for therapist to build rapport with their clients and help them to achieve their goal. We need to be supportive and encouraging our clients as they are trying their best to achieving the goals. It is also imperative to know that what our clients wants and why and specially why they are coming to us at this time because they might have tried different things before that might not be effective and successful. So, it is also important to have honest conversation with our clients and know their story. We will have to listen to them with active listening, and guide them in their direction of achieving their goals.

I can help our clients by knowing them first as their capabilities and limitations and where they stand. From their we collectively put the plan together in goal setting and intervention plan. As a therapist, I will assess their situation, and give them a different perspective so that client can not just see one way rather utilizing the multiple avenue of approach in problem solving. I will also motivate and encourage them in achieving their goals.

I respect each individual as dignity and respect and believe in our human capita as our strength despite what different situation or circumstances we will have to go. We need to support each other and help each other by sharing our ideas and resources. I am open to discuss anything the clients would like to talk about and always respect their side of the story, but will encourage them to think outside the box and other side of the story. I will focus on the positive perspective, and always look for improvement because we all are human being and life is all about learning no matter how big or small- everyday brings us to know something new. Life is also a journey and we all have to learn the skill to navigate through it to reach on our final destination. So in our life, let’s focus on the positive aspects, and share the love and caring nature for the humanity.
