Licensed Master Social Worker

Hello! My name is Skyler Sauma, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker at our Arlington clinic. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University and my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Maryland, College Park. I have experience providing therapy and working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and other neurodevelopmental differences, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, stress, self-esteem, identity development, suicidal ideation, housing insecurity, and a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns.
As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation Lebanese American, I understand how culture, family, and identity shape our experiences. I’m committed to creating a warm, culturally responsive, and affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to be your authentic self.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I look forward to helping you build on your strengths and supporting you as you work toward healing and growth.
