Tackya Hoilett, LCPC, NCC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

I am Tackya Hoilett, a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC), board-certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NCC). I provide therapy services at our Owen Brown, MD clinic.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a warm, safe, and collaborative environment where clients can navigate and overcome life’s challenges. I have 15 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children.

I believe therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about creating space for self-care, growth, and self-understanding. I welcome clients to show up as they are and strive to provide a nonjudgmental, supportive, and empowering atmosphere.

I guide and support clients using a trauma-informed and strength-based approach, and I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients identify challenges and develop effective strategies to manage them.

To support progress, I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to explore how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences, Solution-Focused Therapy to empower you to focus on your strengths and resources, and Person-Centered Therapy to foster self-understanding and promote personal growth.
