Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
I am a clinician at our Silver Spring clinic who provides therapy services!
My ideal client is a high-achieving adult who feels emotionally exhausted and stuck, despite appearing successful on the outside. Their issues often involve anxiety, people-pleasing, and unresolved childhood wounds. They need a nonjudgmental space to explore their emotions and unlearn perfectionistic tendencies. Their goal is to feel more authentic and fulfilled — to live with less anxiety and more self-compassion. They want this because they’re tired of living for others’ expectations and want to finally feel at peace with themselves.
I help high-achieving adults who struggle with anxiety, people-pleasing, and emotional exhaustion by providing a safe, supportive space to unpack their inner experiences. My specialty is in helping clients unlearn perfectionism and reconnect with their authentic selves using a blend of person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral tools, and mindfulness practices. I focus on helping clients set boundaries, develop emotional resilience, and create lives that align with their values—not just their responsibilities. Through weekly sessions, reflective exercises, and practical coping strategies, I guide my clients toward lasting change rooted in self-awareness and self-compassion.
I want you to know that we can navigate this process together. Please don’t let feelings of embarrassment or the belief that you need to be fully prepared prevent you from seeking support. Therapy is not about having everything figured out — it’s about building a collaborative relationship where we can explore strengths, identify areas of concern, and work toward meaningful change in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
My clinical approach is relational and client-centered, with an emphasis on meeting individuals where they are. I incorporate evidence-based practices while maintaining a grounded and approachable style that clients often describe as supportive, transparent, and down-to-earth. While I integrate humor and authentic connection into the therapeutic process, I take clinical concerns seriously and am committed to monitoring progress closely and adjusting interventions as needed.
My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, understood, and supported — with a growing sense of clarity and direction. If you’re considering therapy, I encourage you to reach out. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from support.
