Licensed Graduate Social Worker
I am a clinician at our Fairfax clinic who provides therapy services!
Therapy is a partnership, and in order for it to work, there needs to be a foundation of sense-of-self, along with a commitment to open mindedness, honesty, and vulnerability. I’m best able to support folks who are open and honest about where they’re at, and recognize that while therapy may not be designed to change who you are at your core, it does call for flexibility and a willingness to adjust in a way that will get you to your goals.
Informed by evidence-based modalities like CBT & DBT, MI, and SFT, among others, I have a background supporting folks experiencing mental illness along with addiction, immigration, or system involvement across the country. I’ve worked with everyone from child welfare-involved toddlers and their families to 60-somethings battling addiction.
I do this work in part because of my family’s and my own mental health journey. I value my ability to empathize with my clients, and I am committed to finding solutions that work for you and your life. I know how much it means to ourselves and our families, when we make progress towards our best selves. I appreciate the opportunity to walk alongside you!
