Counseling and Therapeutic Clinician, Alexandria, VA

Sarah holds a master’s degree in social work with a focus on whole family mental health care and healing from The Catholic University of America with an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is a licensed social worker in Virginia and Washington D.C. and loves working with children, teens, and families. Sarah has a background in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and mood disorders and utilizes cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior techniques to assist clients in coping with symptoms and have a better understanding of how to respond to triggers and stresses in life.

Sarah’s experiences include coordinating community services for a primarily AAPI community as well as military children in Hawaii and inpatient care for children and young adults in crisis in the Washington D.C. area. She uses her dynamic cross-cultural life experiences along with her clinical education to connect with clients in all stages of life. Sarah’s goal is to help all her clients to achieve not only improved mental health but balanced overall well-being.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling (she’s visited 35 states and 15 countries), watching South Korean soap operas, and singing to her dog Mason.
